Boise Real Estate’s inventory has been decreasing month after month! They have even been talking about it on the radio and TV. The number of houses on the market is the lowest it has been in years. The number of Newly Constructed Pending Listings has almost doubled in two months. New Home Sales are up. I see more new homes being built. Prices have begin to creep back up. Ok, so what does all this mean for the Boise Real Estate Market?

The Boise Real Estate Market got hit real hard when the housing bubble burst. Boise was no different than any other part of the country. Prices dropped and I mean dropped fast. The Boise Real Estate market slowed to a snail’s pace. Today, the number of homes sold in the Boise Real Estate Market is increasing month after month but the number of available homes is decreasing. With the number of homes decreasing in the Boise Real Estate Market it means prices start going up. Right now if a nice home comes on the Boise Real Estate Market at in the median to average price range, is priced fairly, it sells fast. A lot of times we are ending up with homes with multiple offers on them. It almost turns into a bidding war. All of this is good for helping our Boise Idaho Real Estate Market start recovering. When you look at the Boise area economy, there are a lot of construction workers still out of work. With the Boise Real Estate Market starting to improve and more new homes being built, it puts some of the construction works back to work which helps out the economy. Of course more houses being built also means it helps the construction supply companies and they put more people back to work to handle the extra business. The improving Boise Real Estate market helps the whole Boise area economy! Part of the reason for the shortage of Boise Real Estate on the market is people are hanging on to their existing homes waiting for prices to go back up.
